Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, fruity, malty, butterscotch. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Cask handpull, The Three Legged Mare, York, 17/04/11. Bright gold under a white slick. Lemon sherbet aroma. Soft condition, chew of lemon wine gum, lemon puff biscuit, dip of paper. Very Wood Farm Best. Stale wafers, soapy linger. Don’t dig the card. An acceptable, sparklered to death golden ale but no more.
