Gravity cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 7th Feb 2008. Very deep brown, served in excellent condition. Chocolate malt rules the nose and the taste, backed by a full, creamy mouthfeel that makes this feel much stronger than it is. It drinks above its strength. Great stuff! chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2008
Cask (handpump), The Maltings, York, October 2006. Dark reddish brown colour. I would have had this down as a mild, although there are some subtle earthy hop notes. Caramel malt notes are more prevalent. Pleasant enough.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Battersea Beer Festival.dnas2 (705) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2007
Murky dark brown. Nice coffee and earthy malt. Straight forward yet enjoyably drinkable mild.
Dark red-black. Thin and watery with no head. Caramel and sugar in the nose. In the mouth, mainly toffee. Bitter-sweet at the back of the mouth. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2007
Cask Handpump from the outside bar at the Prince Of Wales, Foxfield 25/11/2006
Some fruit aroma. Mid brown coloured and fruity with some earthy and spice flavours. Crisp full malt finish.
