Cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 10th Feb 2010. Cloudy yellow. Fresh tasting - very hoppy, grassy, funky. Tasty but one-dimensional. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2010
Cask Handpump at the Church Hall, Frodsham 07/01/2006
Orange hop aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and a little sweet on the palate with a fruity orange flavour. A hint of dryness in a smooth and bitter finish. renffisch (891) - london, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2010
BBF 2010 light straw yellow coloured. Hoppy grassy nose with strong horse hints. Even more horse in flavour. Which makes me wonder where the name came from :-) not a bad beer if you like HORSE! Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 19, 2008
Cask/gravity at Battersea Beer Festival 8 Feb 08. Pale golden colored. A thin layer-head. Fruity aroma. Fruity bitter flavor. Sourish, dry bitter aftertaste. Quite good. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2007
Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Straw coloured but more of a pale Bitter than a Golden Ale. Not a lot of aroma. Dry and crisp, with sharp bitterness and citric hops. No great depth and the mouthfeel is quite thin, but it sets out to provide refreshment, not complexity, and succeeds rather well.
