On tap at Y&J in Melbourne. Straw coloured cloudy as a wit should be. Lots of bandanna in the nose, light spice and refreshing bitterness. Reminds me of a good Belgian white, good competition for Feral White. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Young & Jackson’s pub in Melbourne. This one reminds me of Redoak’s honey wheat ale of a few years ago with a nice subdued malt sweetness and lemony citrus finish. Light-medium body with oily texture. Pours hazy bright yellow with decent white head.

Strong aroma of banana on the nose. Great tasting wheat beer from Young & Jacksons in Melbourne. a little cinnamon & nutmeg. A little bitter towards the end of a pint

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2012 Pot from the tap.Cloudy straw yellow. Nose is a bit of banana, slightly sweet and very yeasty. Taste is extremely yeasty with bits of banana from the nose and a lovely sweetness. A slightly hoppy taste on the mid palate, and the finish is all yeast. Reasonably good beer, but too yeasty for my liking.

this beer is freakin AWESOME.. if you like wheat/sweeter tasting beers I’d peg this as the mecca of wheat. I had this while visiting Melbourne from the U.S. and had 8 pints in 2 days...couldn’t get enough of it. If I ever make it back there I’ll definitely be having the Y&J Naked Ale

Tap @ Chloe’s Bar at Young and Jackson, Melbourne. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a great white head leaving lace. Aroma is yeasty, citric, wheaty, cloves and banana. Flavour is acidy, yeasty, sweetish, slightly bitter and fruity. Finishes fruity and bitter.

On Tap at Young and Jacksons in Melbourne. Served a hazy pale golden color with a decent head and some lacing. Aroma of banana with a bit of citrus and fresh grain. Taste is of banana , a bit of citrus and fresh grain. Finish is a bit sweet and sticky. Light body, smooth and a bit too sweet. Decent beer but a bit too sweet for more than one.

Draught. Cloudy pale gold with good head. Nice ester and banana aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Flavour is sweet and sour, and fruity - and well balanced. Overall a good wheat beer.
