From notes. Had this on draft at Chick’s Oyster Bar in Virginia Beach on May 24.The pour is a hazy golden yellow, completely opaque with a thin ring of bubbly white head that vanishes with a few spots of lace. The aroma is not that good. There is a distinct pineapple there, but then the clove comes blowing in. Lots of banana, a sharpness to the alcohol, and a hefe yeastiness that I just don’t care for. Should’ve asked about the style. The flavor is a little worse. The pineapple is dominated. The clove and banana control and the yeast is in the background just lurking. There is a strong graininess to this one and a heavy spiciness on the finish. The mouth feel is light and brightly carbonated with a strong clove and spiciness that drowns out banana and pineapple. No thank you. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 6, 2017
12 ounce can from Beer Run. Hazy orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of wheat and pineapple juice. The taste is wheat, spice, pineapple. Medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering spice. hershiser2 (3661) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JUL 8, 2016
Can from Market Street Wineshop, Uptown. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of grass, light pineapple, banana. Flavor is dusty... then grass... then pineapple and banana - good tangy pineapple finish. Overall meh, but it’d be worse without the pineapple. BeerdedDave (1875) - Beckley, USA - JUN 29, 2016
pineapple aroma; flavor is also mostly pineapple with some banana and clove hefeweizen yeast notes; a refreshing summer wheat bee Ctplt777 (533) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - JUN 3, 2016
Nice cloudy appearance, looks like hefeweizen so that’s cool. Aroma is kind of fruity, banana, and grassy. Not a ton of pineapple or anything like that. Taste is much better than the aroma. I get a little of sweet pineapple, clove, banana and bubblegum. It’s pretty juicy which is refreshing. This would be awesome at the beach. Overall, it’s a good hefeweizen. Nothing crazy, but it’s solid. Cheers

Can as a trade extra. Pours a bright, cloudy yellow with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is wheat, straw, grassy, and a little funk. Flavor was pretty normal for the hefe style. Pineapple was there, but not as strong as the name would suggest. Highly drinkable. Light body and texture, fizzy carbonation, super easy finish. Crushable. jbruner (5274) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Pours a hazy golden yellow from the can with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of wheat, hefe esters, and overlying tropical fruitiness. Taste is what you expect, a pineapple hefeweizen. Could use a bit more of the fruit, but the balance is nice. Solid interpretation of the style. Draft at Young Veterans Brewing Company. Cloudy gold with a short white head. Aroma is big yeast and citrus fruit with wheat and soft malt notes. Taste is big yeast, lemon, toasted malt, wheat and light bubblegum. Body is light-medium with a soft bubbly carbonation. Lots of lemon and yeast notes on the back end with grains, wheat and light bubblegum. Radek Kliber (7483) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - SEP 3, 2014

8/2/2014. Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Taste like most other hefeweizen with lots of wheat and banana. I did not pick out any pineapple flavors at all.
