Charles Wells and Young’s merged in 2006. Young’s brand acquired solely by Charles Wells in 2011.
Brewed using the highest quality barley grown on UK assured farms. Golden in colour with a light, dry palate & a fresh, fruity aroma. Perfect with bangers & mash or roast beef.
Matured live in the bottle for a fresher taste. Can be enjoyed cloudy, but ideally pour slowly leaving the last few drops in the bottle with the yeast. For best results store upright & serve at 10-12°C.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, vegetables - cabbage water, malty, earthy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20110731]

50 cL bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is caramelish and malty. Bitter, mild citrusy and roasted malt flavoured. Nicely mixed malt and bitter finish.

Bottled. A hazy golden with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and a bit of citrus, leading to a dry finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.
