2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
seemed much better after choking down a flowers IPA. Upon further review it was just an average ESB which is still a welcome sight if you’ve got a flowers in your hand.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ home. Pours with a clear orange colour, big rocky beautiful white head. Aroma is medium to heavy malty, with notes of bread; slightly hoppy, with the usual notes of English hops; a little faint, but it’s normal with this style; nevertheless clean. Taste is medium sweet, slightly bitter, slightly sour, liquid bread basically. Medium to heavy body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Solid beer, doesn’t surprise much but it doesn’t disappoint, either.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at the Priory Centre (oh the irony), St Neots. Gold/copper with a bit of white head. Bready, nutty, slightly metallic aroma. Boring bittersweet taste with a sweet/sour caramel aftertaste. Not a patch on the cask version but drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber colour, no head.
Not knowing the style I thougt bitter meant really bitter which the beer is not...
Taste is fruity sweetness with a medium bitter finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 500ml bottle poured in a chalice.
A: Pours a golden orange bit cloudy color. Forms a medium white bit yellow aired head. Medium retention and some nice lacings
S: Smells like a good bitter :), I mean, caramel malts, toffee and grassy and citrus hops. Bready. Simple but pleasant
T: Follows the nose. A caramel upfront followed by a watery and malty body with a good bitter-grassy-pine-citrus hoppy aftertaste. A little bit metallic. In overall a dry and bitter taste, no sweetness
M: Very light wayery body. Nice medium carbonation. Reasonable ( an good!) hoppy bitter aftertaste
O: Very drinkable as a English Bitter should be. Nice one
