light color, almost a belgian blond. Beatiful aroma's, and a very refreshing taste. There is a big difference in the beer with or without the yeastdepot.
I prefer to drink it without, because the aroma's were more in balance then. johndoughty (5600) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 3, 2003
A bottled conditioned beer that, for me, really hit the jack pot.
A light appearance and a
pleasant citrus first taste give an indication of what to expect. As you sip your mouth is bombarded with fruit, hops and a slight bitterness.Aftertaste is lingering and extremly pleasant. It resembles a cross between a top class German lager and a well rounded British bitter. Some would describe this as heaven. In my mind this is a top class beer. Bottle conditioned from Sainsbury’s. Clear golden yellow, persistent head. Excellent citrus fruity hop aroma. Goes down a treat. Lemony bitter dry aftertaste. JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2004
Bottle. Pale straw coloured, almost golden. No head. Slightly hazy. Nicely balanced, hop, malt and fruity aroma. Nice hoppy bitter taste, with underlying malt, plus grapefruit. Some carbonation, with a medium mouthfeel. Crisp and dry, with a sharp bitter finish and pleasant, lingering aftertaste. I like it! scotty (1235) - SCOTLAND - MAR 29, 2005
Pours fine, with a pale gold colour, head is white and frothy but dies VERY quickly, good steady bead of bubbles tho’ shame they cant maintain a head. Wonderful heady, hoppy aroma cant fault that. Palate bursts with flavour..fresh and fruity, with malt in the background..pleased with this,as I was very disappointed with Waggledance..Youngs are back in my ratings again, shame about the head tho’

alcohol, raisin, woody, rotten eggs, basement aromas, citrus, spruce, bread, golden, cloudy, white foam, minimal head, medium sweetness, very bitter, medium sourness, umami, full body, creamy, average carbonation, bitter, erway (1004) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JAN 1, 2007
Pours a lightly cloudy med. golden with thick white head. Aroma is grassy, spicy, and earthy. Just a ton of hops. The body is med. with heavy CO2. The flavors are intensely hoppy. More hop forward than any other beer I have had in Britain. Flavors of orange zest, black pepper and earthiness with a light malt quality. Finish is highly bitter. Very BoPils-like. I like it a lot! jerryballoono (32) - Urgup, TURKEY - DEC 9, 2007

Citrus and apple aroma. Citrusy, fairly hoppy flavor. Some vanilla. Just a bit dusty. The citrus and hops dominate. Dry hoppy aftertaste. I like it a lot. pilsnerrogge (3024) - Finspång, SWEDEN - MAR 31, 2004
Golden, slightly hazy colour. Medium, dense head. Hoppy, refreshing nose. Medium bodied. Refreshing, zesty hop-bitterness. A great summer-beer.
