UPDATED: NOV 30, 2005 1 Pint Botltle:
Pours Black with a small Tan head that didn’t last long. First sip tapped into roast coffee flavor, I started to taste the chocolate toward the middle as the stout warmed. It was a nice tasting beer, and not as sweet as I expected, but nice.
Aroma I got was of roast coffee, overall a very nice stout all around.

Re-rated 10-28-2005: Had a fresher bottle tonight, Smooth easy chocolate flavor all the way through. small tan head. nice sweet chocolately aroma. still a great stout and a nice session beer for me.

Re-Rated. 11-30-2005. From Can.

Poured a rich brownish color, about 1 inch, off-white fluffy head that lasted intil final sip. Aroma was malty and chocolately. Flavor was big on chocolate. Again stll a session beer for me, this one is easy to drink and goes down smooth.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2005 This is a very nice brew, not to sweet, as some other sweet stouts can be....very solid in all departments....a winner, especially considering how widely aval. it is!

Nitro can. jet black with a creamy, lasting nitro head. Roasted malt and dark chocolate aroma. Flavor is a complex melding of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and floral hops. Velvety smooth texture and a Loonnng chocolatey, roasted finish makes this one of the best sweet stouts I’ve had.

Dark black with a think head. It’s not too sweet, but sweet enough that I wouldn’t want more than one at a sitting. Besides chocolate, has coffee overtones.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2005 Big, lasting, creamy head. Pitch black colour. Intriguing dark chocolate aroma. Tastes great, a slightly sweet & fruity stout with a note of chocolate that leaves a strong aftertaste; as if you’ve eaten dark chocolate. If find it very well made and original. Great stout.

Sweetish but rich, lovely complexity, chocolate and espresso flavors, a little floral, nice linger, very smooth and velvety mouthfeel

Draught Can. Thanks to Bob Mack for the can! Pours a deep dark brown with a pleasant rolling head that builds up slowly. Has an aroma of sweet chocolate. Nice flavor of dark chocolate, but not too overpowering. Lingers on the palate. A quite excellent sweet stout that I highly recommend.

This is a nice full bodied Beer, which doesnt initially strike you with its chocolate Taste initially however leaves a chocolate aftertaste which is quite wonderful

The aroma is a sweet chocolate. The appearance is a deep chocolaty black and has a nice thick tan head. The initial flavor is of ginger and finishes with a chocolate liquer taste on the palate.
