Vinous aroma of port and chocolate with notes of raspberry. Rich creamy mouthfeel. No roasted flavors to distract from sweetness, this stout is the real deal. Bittersweet finish, slightly dry. Chocolate beyond belief, no subtle hints. Delicious.

a rich creamy taste with a light chocolate taste but i prefer in bottle the can version is too smooth and not enough taste

Nice nutty, chocolate aroma, with almost a hint of coffee. Very dark pour, but not syrupy at all. Not too sweet, in my opinion.

Everyone has a "safe" beer. One that you always can go to when you need a good brew. This is mine. Such good flavor. Has a rich chocolate aroma, but not too overpowering on the palate. The head is nice and fluffy and stays with you the whole time. The finish is dry and bitter..soo nice. Always a hit! PUB CAN ONLY!

Very sweet, and thick. I guess that is what is to be expected, but I can’t see myself grabbing another 4 pack, just too sweet for me.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2005 Pours nice and jet-black with a stable head. Vanilla aroma. To me the flavor has more weak coffee and vanilla than chocolate, which only reveals in the finish. A bit thin but quite creamy.

I got the bottle at HalfTime. There is definately a chocolate tone to this moderately roasty tasting stout. I think most of it lies in the finish. But there is nothing that seems to stand out in my mind and on my taste buds. Its pleasant to drink but not provocative. Over-rated IMHO.

Bottle. Dark brown with big light tan head. Nose is pure chocolate, milk and dark. Taste is malty, chocolate, and a little too thin.

a very creamy brew but similar to other sweet and dry stouts lacks depth of flavor. hints of chocolate certainly but overall nothing spectacular.
