.Appearance: Dark ruby red/black, creamy tan head.
.Aroma: Dark fruit, fig, sweet chocolate.
.Taste: Muted chocolate, slight sweetness followed by a dry bitter finish. Dark fruit aftertaste. Not overly complex. Flavors are not overly robust.
.Palate: Watery, light in body. Very thin. Medium carbonation.
.Looks great in the glass and smells delicious, but unfortunately the flavors are not very pronounced. Hints of sweetness followed by hints of bitterness. Nothing overly complex. The low ABV (5.2) gives this beer a very watery, thin mouthfeel. Not exactly what I look for in a milk stout. I give this a C Overall. If you like a light, easy drinking stout give this a try, but if you're in the mood for a complex sipper, I don't think this will get it done for you. foodgazer (44) - MALAYSIA - NOV 3, 2017
Cheap (MYR19 per bottle at point of purchase), decadent, and deceptively named. This isn’t a rich dark chocolate-y stout, but rather a sweet and light one with a creamy toffee body. There’s a noticeable absence of the typical chewy malt mouthfeel one expects from a strong stout, and the roasted notes that tickle the palate quickly dissipate before building to a significant aftertaste. Think a traditional Guinness but cut with laces of cocoa. It’s a perfect introductory stout and/or dessert beer. 50cl bottle split with SimonBlok. Courtesy of SimonBlok. Pours a jetblack colour with a small creamy head with decent retention. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark malt, mocca, chicory. Taste is medium sweet, soft bitter with a moderate dry finish. Notes of mocca, dark malt, roasted malt, liquorice root, chicory. 50cl bottle split with Gyhallmanti. Appearance: black with medium beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Taste: high sweetness and pretty high bitterness. Notes dark chocolate, mocca, coffee, nuts. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and medium carbonation.

Smell: Woody, fruity, glue, malty, coffee //
Look: Pretty black with visible bubbles at the bottom of the glass, very good lacing //
Taste: Lightly sour roasted-malty base -- chocolate kicks in together with the carbonation -- leaves bitter-sour nutty, hoppy aftertaste //
Head: Mocha-colored, light and voluminous //
Mouthfeel: Light-medium carbonation, rather watery //
Overall: Very drinkable, basic and clean stout.. I'd prefer something less watery though //

Black with large beige head. Aroma is chocolate oatmeal cocoa chocolate syrup also some shy dreamy hop notes. Taste is indeed double chocolate. Perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter. Pours from 1pt 0.9 oz bottle a near pitch black with a small tannish head of foam that shrinks to a fine layer with some lacing.
The smell is all chocolate and hot cocoa and it's a pleasure to my nose.
The taste is a delicious sweet chocolate with some slightly bitter cocoa notes that are a literal wonder on my taste buds and... it's so smooth and yet tasty that I just can't get enough of i read the drinkability factor goes through the roof! Imho, this is *still* the quintissential Chocolate Stout on the market today. Simply superb!

Sweet, milk chocolate, cherry syrup on aroma. Taste of chocolate, black cherry, amaretto. Palate is a big negative - way too bubbly, a touch too thin. Considering how much I enjoy regular and impy stouts, I'm not really finding these chocolate stouts to be up my alley.
