Very smooth. Chocolate aroma and flavor throughout. Probably a little too sweet to drink everyday but great as a dessert drink. If you like Young's Oatmeal your probably going to like this.

A girl I know who didn't particularly like Stouts thought this was awsome. Very rich and smooth. An excellent sweet stout

I was told how good this was so I had to try it. To be honest, I don't care for sweet-tasting beer and this reminded me of Guinness with Hershey's syrup mixed in. Great aroma and appearance, but not on the palate. If you like chocolate or sweets, then you might like this as it offers a range of tastes that run the gamut from bitter to sweet.

Like the Youngs Oatmeal Stout, the bottled version is better. The canned version seems less substantive, lacking the flavor profiles of the bottles version. Very creamy though.

What the hell are those guys who say they didn't taste any choclate thinking? This is one of the best stouts I've ever had. Jolly good show.

I found this to be an excellent stout. Perhaps some of the previous reviewers got some bad bottles. Presented very dark with rich roasted malt and chocolate aromas. Very full mouthfeel and goes down smoothly. Dark semi-sweet chocolate taste with a hint of raisin/figs in background. A great desert beer.

It has a very weak aroma and there isn'y much of a chocolate taste. Slightly above average stout. Nice head and a lace that lasted throughout.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2003 Re-rating: Dry bittersweet chocolate flavors dominate here, with a mild sweetness up front and a dry finish. Clean yeast profile, light on hops. Nice beer if boring.
