Interesting and definitely chocolatey. Vaguely reminiscent of liquid bakers chocolate. Mild as far as stouts go.

I was expecting something with a little more chocolate flavor. But it is still good, and is very smooth going down. Not a favorite, but I'd definitely buy it again.

Pretty darn chocolatey. Waaay better than Young's Oatmeal Stout..........

Too bad the taste doesn't match the great aroma. Still, a great stout.......

aroma and appearance started out great the flavor and palate just didn't hold out. best used as a base for a black-n-tan

Not quite 'double' chocolate, this was silky smooth and very creamy. Not as chocolatey as I expected, but good nonetheless. Best when slightly below room temperature. You're missing a lot of you drink it straight from the fridge.

I was looking forward to trying this as I seem to like Youngs. I was expecting something like Mackesons XXX Stout or for some reason a nice deep flavorful beer like the Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald (well that's a porter...umm...). Anyways, it wasn't as good as those. But it is a nice smooth good beer. Nice and malty. I had Pete's Wicked Ale a couple days ago... and this is much better... I hope i rated them thusly.

Very drinkable as stouts go. I was expecting a stronger chocolate aroma, but the flavor is smooth and balanced.

black colour, fine head, coffee and chocolate aroma, sweet and full with a slightly bitter aftertaste
