Some toasted malts and more of a cocoa taste than chocolate. With 5,2% a bit on the thin side. Decent, though.

Bottle from LCBO, gift from Tami. Pours very dark with tan head. Aromas of raisins, chocolate, cherry, smells sweet. Light tasting sweetish stout, with flavours of chocolate, cherries, some roastiness. Dry finish. Good stuff.

Saeglopur (2154) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - MAR 18, 2017
500 ml bottle, bb 31/05/17, from Bottle Shop, Salzburg.
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, nuts, coffee, some dark fruits.
Tastes quite similar, with even a bit more chocolate, but also some toast and liquorice.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, medium roasty, a bit dry, a bit wooden, with cocoa, dark chocolate, some toast

Tasty. Smooth and dense, with lovely chocolate notes throughout, while not too sweet, with enough roastiness, very well balanced. Drinks pretty easy. Lovely, chatacterful style example.

Grumbo (2854) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2017
Bottle from Tesco. Pours almost black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and hint of coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Good stout.

Cajun (532) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - MAR 13, 2017
Can - Pours black, off-white head. Nitro cube. Wasn’t impressed with this, it may be old. Chocolate, dark malts, fermented breads, hints of coffee and burnt muffins. Some hops on the backend. Lacking something.

Antzrhere (181) - Blackpool, Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2017 Pours black with beige head. Aroma is initially of metal/iron but followed by aroma of freshly opened dark chocolate bar. Taste is quite warm, rich roast, chocolate, vanilla, sweet biscuit. A complex rich malt backbone for a beer of this strength.Slightly sweet but well balanced. Body is a little thin but typical for a bottled ale. Quite enjoyable

Johnstledger8 (1142) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAR 5, 2017
Pitch black with a thin mostly lasting light beige head. Aroma is of chocolate, biscuit, slightly bitter, nuts, dark fruits. Taste is of chocolate, biscuit, caramel, dark fruits. Light oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

daab007 (121) - Kraków, POLAND - MAR 4, 2017
Zapach to największy atut. Czuć ewidentną czekoladę, z wiśniami. Piana gęsta, beżowa. Redukuje się dość szybko, zdobi szkło. W smaku czekolada, gorzka. Dość kwaśny posmak. Ogólnie w stosunku do ceny nie ma szału.

rumore (489) - Rimini, ITALY - MAR 1, 2017
From 50cl bottle. Pours dark brown with brownish foam, limited and fine. Aroma gives hazelnut in the beginning, as well as coffee. The flavor of dark chocolate comes out once the beer is warmer. Body is light, coherently worth alcohol level, and low carbonation. Taste is balanced between sweetness and bitterness, which comes up afterward. Finish is rather short.

sdf95 (39) - - FEB 28, 2017
Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste. Piana nie utrzymuje się zbyt długo. W zapachu kawa, w smaku czekolada z bakaliami, odrobina kakao. Troche kwaśnego posmaku od palonych słodów.
