Poured from a 1 pt. bottle into an English pint glass. Pours a very dark brown, almost black and is slightly hazy. Head is large, creamy and light brown, turns slightly rocky then diminishes to a thin layer of foam but never leaves completely. Good lacing. Nose consists of a dark toasted chocolate with a faint hint of raisin (like Raisinettes!) with moderate earthy yeasty odor. Can’t detect any hops at all. Initial flavor is of moderately sweet roasted chocolate and finishes slightly tart. It’s a medium-bodies brew with a creamy texture with a slight metallic/tannic feel. Carbonation is lively out of the bottle, but quickly settles down and becomes soft, almost flat.
This beer has a beautiful rich color. The chocolate overtones are not too powerful or sweet, but create a nice balance.

Top quality stout. Very good for those who want to venture into this type of beer. As it is easily found, and has a good cost / benefit, it serves as the first experience for anyone who has any discrimination with stouts. Szopeen (554) - POLAND - JUN 23, 2017
Barwa ciemno brunatna, ładna, obfita piana. Aromat czekoladowo-kawowy, w smaku wyraźna nuta cappuccino, niskie nasycenie, całkiem smaczne. vlada94 (183) - Nis, SERBIA - JUN 22, 2017
Dark brown colour with thin tanned head, aroma of dark chocolate , roasted malt and coffe, taste of dark chocolate , lightly sweet, hints of milk chocolate, good bitterness and fine bitter aftertaste. All in all, this is a good stout. Maarten1993 (1274) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 17, 2017
Drank 17-06-17 in Stockholm at Thierrys after the BBQ. A bit neutral but chocolate is definitely present. Not bad but also not very good.

Delicious Chocolate stout. Medium creamy head, with very little carbonation. Aroma/taste: predominantly dark/milk chocolate and roasted malts. Rich fully body flavor and not overly sweet. Especially good in the nitro can (if you can find it). Zlotta (3273) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2017
0.5 l bottle from ’Bier & Beer’, best before November 2017. Very dark brown to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnut, mocca and vanilla. Slightly sweetish, malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, some hazelnut and hints of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, a bit earthy-dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, but a bit too thin for my liking. han57rus (13) - Oryol, RUSSIA - JUN 2, 2017
