From tap at Wheatsheaf in Stoney Street, London. Pours clear and golden orange with a diminished white head. Roasted maty aroma. Flavour is mild citrusy hoppy with a light toasted breadish base flavour. Light bitter and slight acidic flavour into the finish. Smooth and bitter at once. [cask] An amber beer with a small lasting head. The aroma is faint with sweet notes of berries. The flavor is very creamy and sweet with a woody finish - kind of sweet and sour. Amber color. There is too much <i>white sugar</i> aroma and flavor, but also some good caramel flavor and a good body; quite strong bitterness. Not impressive, but enjoyable.
