RBAG, I think it was Sid’s bottle. Deep brown. Aroma is chocolate and citrus fruit. Fruity hops are quite present, but some coffee too. I dont know what an IPAporter is, but it sure sounds close to black ipa. This was interesting, but. not amazing. DuffMan (10983) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 23, 2014
Bottle, shared at RBAG 2014 by Sid. Dark brown with a very lively head. Chocolate and coffee and piney hops with an estery quality, finishing with moderate bitterness. A beer with an identity crisis, but not bad at all! angel77 (4240) - oviedo, SPAIN - AUG 26, 2014
Botella. Dark brown colour, small beige ehad, bit lacing. Roasty malty roasty caramel sweet aroma with some chocolate to it. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet like roasted maltiness and roasted caramel in the flavour along with hops, chocolate and dark fruit. Above medium pleasant bitterness. Bueno! andrepintado (3824) - Porto, PORTUGAL - FEB 3, 2014
On tap at Festival Cervezorama, Madrid. Looking quite dark with a thin to medium head. Aroma is herby, trees, hops and fruits. Is this really an imperial porter? So much hops in here makes this almost a black ipa.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, roasted malt, hops, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, bread, roasted malt, and citrus hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing. jonas (8634) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - APR 25, 2013
Roasted dark malt, perfume. Good cappucino lace
Roast chocolate, big hop aromatics.
Somewhat sticky and resiny in the finish.
Interesting, not sessionable Mortlach (2537) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 31, 2015
330ml bottle @home. Deep brown appearance with a big beige/cappuccino head. Aroma is roasted malts, mocha with a strong hoppiness, pine, resin, yeasts, some herbal, medicine. Flavour is rich and powerful, light sweet at first, roasted malts, coffee, bitter chocolate, then it evolves in a long and persistent bitter end. Full body, medium carbonation. Rough, weird... extreme! Not my cup of tea. It could be refined. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 13, 2012
Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear reddish brown with a creamy beige head. Sweet chocolate dominates the nose. Medium body, chocolate roast, rather burned malts and a bitter finish. 131212 rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 20, 2014
Bottle. Very dark brown body - not quite black. Nose is cocoa, a bit of phenol/stressed yeast, pine & roast. Flavor is chocolate, roast, strong piney bitterness.
