12 oz bottle consumed in the condo at Myrtle Beach, SC. Pours amber with a somewhat creamy offwhite head. Aroma is haylike hops and light caramel malts. Taste is caramel malts, some corn.. Palate is fairly light and carbonated pretty well. Pretty much just like the lager except a tad less flavor. Not bad for a light beer though. rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 18, 2005
Light toasty malt nose. Sour with a very lightly toasted malt. A bit of lemon/malt in the finish. Blech. IMtheOptimator (1167) - Brookfield, Connecticut, USA - AUG 18, 2005
Poured an effervescent amber with a semi-creamy white head. Very faint citrusy aroma... nothing displeasant but barely discernible. Taste is heavy burnt corn... obviously from the extra 2 hours of cooking time used in making this beer. Unpleasant corny finish. Light body. blank (996) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 25, 2005
slighly more watery version of the original. It still does have favor and none of the cheap beer aftertaste. But still far weaker then the original DragonStout (1416) - Groveport, Ohio, USA - JUL 21, 2005

Great light beer. Now my light beer of choice! Taste very similar to Yuengling. Redlight Redlight’s got it. dp (608) - uniontown, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2005
Really enjoyed this, especially for a light. Bought a 12, was surprised how fast it went. Wish they sold this brew in Ohio. Nejhleader (1550) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 30, 2005
pretty much just a watered down yuengling lager. not much taste there no aroma or anything. i guess for a light beer its not bad. IPFreely (1470) - Sanborn, New York, USA - JUN 8, 2005
Ugh. From a can. Very watery, dry, relatively nondescript flavors. Metallic, overly carbonated. Ugh. lagermonkey (725) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - MAY 10, 2005
Pours a pale copper with a thin white head, quickly dissipates and has no lace. Smells lightly grassy.
Taste has a better malt profile than I had expected. Lightly sweet and hints of nuttiness. Light hops finish. However, overall it is too watery and doesn’t have much aftertaste. Very thin. Very drinkable though and as far as light lagers go, this one isn’t offensive.
