12oz can, right from the can. Light aroma of grain and some bread. Flavor is very light and carbonated. Easy to drink and not much going on here....decent if nothing else is available. Much better than other mass market hoopla

For some reason Yuengling is extremely popular in New Orleans. Id like to do some research into why!

Darker than expected, a light amber with a small white head. The aroma is somewhat toasty, with light caramel notes. The flavor is a lot lighter, somewhat metallic, and strong carbonation. Seemed nice till I tasted it.

Well, its a highly watered down version of the regular Lager. You can barely make out the familiar malt profile but alas it is not terrible. However, I would never choose this over a regular Lager!

At a fantasy football draft, finished the growler and single that I brought. There was a bunch of these and regular Yuengling in the fridge, so figured Id grab a Y Light to review since I never sampled. Basically a watered down version of Yuengling. Not much more to say.

Bottle -Pours pale amber, not much head. Faint aroma, hint of pale malt. Watery flavor... buttered biscuit, very mild hops finish. Meh.

Poured from a tap. Medium clear copper color, medium frothy white head. Not much of an aroma. Light body with a light slightly skunk malt flavor and a light finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle to shaker glass, pours clear amber. One finger quick white head, no lacing, slight retention. Aroma of corn and hay. Taste is lightly sweet, just a hint of bitterness. Very light bodied, soft carbonation, watery mouth feel. Finishes dry. It has more flavor than most light beers, which is about all I can say about this offering.

12oz can. Medium off-white head that mostly dissipates atop crystal clear deep amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some corn, light spicy. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, cereal/corn, light earthy. Light body, faint stickiness. Perfectly adequate, which you cant say about many "Light" beers.

Not too shabby. Not great, sure. Light, watery. BUT its a good clean true lager flavor in there. If you have to drink a light lager, its a good choice. Moderate cereal presence, light hopping but actually detectable hop bitterness.
