So I found myself a sixer of Yuengling Light for $2.50 at a grocery store in Washington DC. One of the better investment decisions Iíve made recently (damned markets). It was a scorching hot day, the beer was cold, and I was refreshed. Think rooftop scene in Shawshank Redemption. As far as color goes, its basically clear. Very little aroma or head. Flavor is pleasant enough; very weak but enjoyable. If I ever find another $2.50 six-pack of these boys Iíll buy it for sure. Tmoney99 (14368) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 5, 2006
Got to try this in Tampa. The word is light . Light color, small head, light aroma, light body, light flavor and short finish. Drinkable for cold, wet and light alcohol. Borup (14332) - Albertslund, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2013
Bottle. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of yeast, grain and hops. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 17, 2015
12oz can. Medium off-white head that mostly dissipates atop crystal clear deep amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some corn, light spicy. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, cereal/corn, light earthy. Light body, faint stickiness. Perfectly adequate, which you canít say about many "Light" beers. 12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy head that quickly fades. Aroma of grassy hops and slightly husky grain. The taste is grassy and leafy hops with faint grain and a slight sweetness in the finish. Thin and watery. Not bad.

Grainy smell, its a fucking american light lager, what are you expecting? Gold? No better than a BMC product and donít kid yourself. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 24, 2007
12 oz bottle-pours a fizzy white head and gold color. Aroma is grain/light malt-some sweet caramel. Taste is grain/light malt-some sweet caramel, barely noticeable hops. Musty, thin. Minimum carbonation. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 25, 2006
UPDATED: APR 29, 2017 Draft. Light toffee malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Decent body. Pretty good for a light beer - might make this a regular now that it is available in Indiana (the last time the state got this excited about beer was when they finally started selling Coors in-state in the early 90s). Much better on draft than the bottle I had in the past. hopscotch (11049) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 30, 2004
Clear, golden lager with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is nondescript... very light toffee notes. There is no flavor. Ultra-light bodied. Fizzy, dry palate. Short, watery finish. Not offensive as it would need some sort of flavor to offend me. This one doesn't. Ignore this beer and maybe it will just go away.

NASTY. Why bother? Piss colored, rank and stank aromas. Rank and stank flavors. Man oh man this is just horrible. All grain and nastiness. Never again.
