Strykzone (7354) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 1, 2009
This might have been the best light beer I have had. It had a bit of caramel color with a nice thick whitish head that had nice retention and added a creamy feel to the beer. Flavor was definitely "light beer-ish." Not a lot going on but still more and better than many pale lagers that are not "light."

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance :Amber gold brew with fizzy weak top 2-.
Nose : Sweet aroma of honey, sugar and grain. Rough set up.4-
Flavour/Palate : More of that in flavour. Honey like front, carbonated shallow middle with light grain-bitter finish (which was best of this brew). Thin sweeten lager, bad not horrible. Like David Hasselhoff singing Limbo dance….well not really.

Aroma and flavor is mild malts, a hint of fruit and a slightly tart/smooth finish. Not bad actually.

This is a disappointment. It's crystal clear with a sweet corn-malty character. Yuengling continues to go down hill.

Can, drunk 3/30/14 and a few more the next few days.
Moderate to low head retention atop a light amber body.
Smells sort of waxy, somewhat oxidized, maybe a touch of caramel? Not really. Hops? Eh, perhaps a touch of spice, but thats probably stretching things.
Waxy, papery, cardboard and vanilla. Can’t really differentiate this stuff from the Big Two. I guess tastes more like a European pale lager. Not quite as adjuncty, but still just as stale and lifeless. Still, drinkable, I guess and not particularly offensive. Not good though, that’s for sure.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2013
Clear bright copper body with a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is a bit heavier on the corn than the regular lager and a bit rougher and husky. Surprising, cause I thought it would just be more watery. The flavor is rather watery though, thin and laced with corn, not a whole lot else here. Thin and watery with fizzy carbonation and a short finish. I kinda enjoy the regular lager, but this is pretty bad.

aroma is decent much like normal yuengling, appearance is pretty light, flavor is alot like rolling rock but with a better after taste, palate is watery though

Patrickctenchi (6586) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Amber. white head. Scent is mild caramel, corn Taste is faint toasted grain, caramel and water. Very weak but better than most ultra-lights. At least it LOOKS better in a glass.

blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2013
bottled, pale yellow, light bodied citrus and some candied fruit flavor and aroma, not bad

Overall Impression: Decent for a light beer, but still tastes like a light beer
