My doctor put me on a low carb diet. The nutrition info was not on the box, it is just on the cans. Carbohydrate content is 8.5g per 12 oz., rather high for a light beer. For example Michelob Ultra is 2.6g and imo tastes better. The carb content of Lord Chesterfield Ale is 12g, so I’m sacrificing a lot of enjoyment for minimal carb reduction. Solid light. I’m probably being tricked by caramel color but this seems to have a pretty solid grain character and even a kiss of hops. Real low in ABV too which I can get behind. ginotarugo (70) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2017
I respect any Brewery that has been around nearly 200 years, but I was hoping for something more. This beer isn’t bitter, isn’t spicy, isn’t sweet. It isn’t much of anything unfortunately. It tastes watered-down and flat. It is, however, very easy to drink. Not bad, but not good either. Extremely low ABV. wlajwl (6817) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 15, 2017
Aroma and flavor is mild malts, a hint of fruit and a slightly tart/smooth finish. Not bad actually. rojaspoker (1) - - APR 4, 2017 does not count
Average beer, not great!. From the outside looking in this beer seems great, but once you taste it, that’s when you realize is not all that.

Can. Light amber pour with light head. Mild malt, sweet aromas. Not much to this flavor, amber malt, but better than the normal light beers. bpreo (2840) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - NOV 16, 2016
For some reason Yuengling is extremely popular in New Orleans. I’d like to do some research into why! monkeychugg55 (1090) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2016
Darker than expected, a light amber with a small white head. The aroma is somewhat toasty, with light caramel notes. The flavor is a lot lighter, somewhat metallic, and strong carbonation. Seemed nice till I tasted it. kerenmk (4768) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 3, 2016
Bottle to plastic cap at Robert’s Western World, Broadway, Nashville, TN, 4.5.16. Clear amber. Light malt and limestone aroma, sweet and wort and oxidized taste. Light body, worty and oxidized finish. Leafs93 (2305) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 30, 2016
Well, its a highly watered down version of the regular Lager. You can barely make out the familiar malt profile but alas it is not terrible. However, I would never choose this over a regular Lager!
