This is a clear pouring, copperish amber lager, with a thick off white head, a beautiful beer. Smooth, highly drinkable, and malty, which is exactly what an Octoberfest beer should be. This is reminiscent of the Sam adams version, which is equally as good and BETTER than some of the authentic German Marzens, if you ask me. Yuengling is making some really good seasonal offerings at a value that cant be beat. Damn good beer. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2016
Pours a medium amber with two finger head. Smells of light malt and a touch of wood. Flavors of malt, a little wood, and a touch of fruit.

Bottle from Food Stop Rockville. Dark amber body with medium head. Nose is malty, toasty, caramel. Taste is also malts, caramel and spices. Thin, watery texture. Not great. A bit bland really and too sweet in the finish. slowrunner77 (12040) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JAN 2, 2016
sweet malty smell and taste, fairly generic and a little thin on the body. Pretty much as expected. not bad and not special. Bricks (1125) - Delaware, USA - DEC 20, 2015
Very good looking beer. Reddish appearance with decent head. Smell is pretty neutral, all I get is a bit of malt. Taste is slight malt, balanced, bready. Palate is solid. Good beer.

Bottle, thanks sevenhokie! Sweet, grainy malt aroma with light caramel notes. Pours amber colored with a thin but retentive off white head that has good lacing. Starts with grain malt flavor with little depth. Finishes smooth and refreshing with some sweet caramel flavor, but watery and lacking the nice caramel sweetness of an Oktoberfest. mercsmusic (10) - - DEC 10, 2015
expected more taste- beer tastes watered down and only a hint of pumpkin. I think the hint would have been better if spicy. this lacks imagination and is not a very good brew anders37 (26605) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2015
Draft @ DAS BEST Oktoberfest, Baltimore. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish with weak hints of caramel. DrNosha (2335) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2015
Vom Fass im Brauhaus. Bernsteinfarben, wenig Schaum. Röstmalz und Gerste in der Nase. Malziger Geschmack, kaum herb. Oktoberfestbier schmeckt anders. Das Bier ist aber ok. smaynard6000 (1165) - Apopka, Florida, USA - OCT 6, 2015
bottle. Pours an amber color with small tan head. Faint sweet malty aroma. Straight caramel malt flavor. Light bodied. A bit more flavor would be nice, tastes a bit light for a marzen. Not bad though.
