Dark ruby hue with a thin tan head. This is not a Porter, its an acceptable porter like brew mixed with regular Yuengling. Thats what it tastes like too. There are hints of coffee, molasses and roasted malt, but the whole thing is cut with that conventional macro lager taste. Fortunately, Yuengling Lager is about as good as it gets in a macro lager, so the whole thing is OK but not great.

Bottle. Black in color with a tan head that disipated quickly. Roasted malt aroma with dark chocolate, coffee and light toast notes. It is a bit watery but has a smooth finish.

Color of a cola, very dark. I am not a big fan of dark beers, but this one isnt strong tasting. As a previous review said, it tastes part porter and part lager. Somewhat bitter but not overwhelming. Actually not a bad beer - recommended if you like porters.

Can at my parents house. It pours a dark chestnut color with a fizzy light tan head. The aroma has light cocoa powder, caramel, and toast. The flavor is more toasted with hints of cocoa powder, rice and corn adjusts. Light bodied with very light bitterness. Easy to drink. Not bad actually.

(bottle) Pours a dark brown complexion with dissipating tan head. Some biscuit and steel aroma. The flavor is a mellowed malt with some rich roasted qualities. Watery palate.

A great dark beer that is a combination of their Porter and Lager. 60% Porter 40 % Lager. A great caramel flavor - Great with or with out food.

Bottle - Pours dark brown, no head to speak of. Weak aroma of dark malt, dry toast. First sip was mostly weak coffee and biscuits. Some hops in the after.
