Poured an effervescent yellow with a semi-creamy white head. Citrusy hop aroma... surprisingly good for the style. Taste is mostly that of burnt corn with a distasteful finish. Seems to be missing a lot of the citrus tones and refreshing nature of the regular Premium beer. NewBelgium5 (80) - , Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2009
For a night of long drinking this could do the trick. Similar to the Premium, but there is something off about it. ben4321 (6735) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAR 31, 2009
Decent for a light beer, but still tastes like a light beer

12 oz bottle. Pours clear pale yellow. Not much head. Smells of faintly corn andstale grains. Tastes very watery, but some corn-grain flavors creep through. Nice drinkability, but just hardly any flavor. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2009
no good. I have nothing to really say about this beer. It doesn’t compare to the Yuengling lager at all. If your looking to reduce calories with a light beer...your better of drinking water.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium straw hue with a half finger foamy white head. The smell is corn and light sweet syrup. The taste was watery with a light corn and hop presence. Some husky grain. Decent doughy finish. The mouthfeel was thin and carbonated.
Overall an uneventful light lager.

Better than nothing (or coors light)
even waterier version of yuengling premium. Not too good

A watered down version of the Premium. It’s easy to drink and refreshing, but nothing else. carruthm (1400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 2, 2008
It is what it is, a light pale lager, so don’t expect anything great. But if you are choosing in that genre you can do far worse than Yuengling Light and you might not be able to do much better. spagyetti (68) - Puyallup, Washington, USA - JUN 27, 2008
Bottle. A lager with water added? Maybe. They say "tricks are for kids!"’ Maybe they are trying it with adults now.
