A true beer, tastes good even when warm ! great for cooking, this is by far my most favorite beer . and it’s a US company. quiksilverxtc99 (98) - USA - MAR 13, 2002
better than their premium. great taste for a light beer, and the price is nice too. more malt flavor than hops. very nice. mixes well with their dark brewed porter for a nice, tasty B&T. Best Light beer out there in my opinion. Ramsey99 (1) - New Ringgold, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2002 does not count
This is new from Yuengling. Traditional Lagers sit heavy after you have had many of them. Lager Light has 99 calories and it still has most of the same good characteristics as the regular Lager oldmonk420 (26) - New York, USA - JUN 30, 2004
Luv the Yuengling family!! They make some good ass beers in general. Pretty good taste for a light beer. Almost up there with my Coors light. Nice pleasant malkt and hops flavor to it. Good head, nice and creamy. Good smooth satisfying finish. Clean and crisp. If I wanted a different light beer this would be it. Old Monk gives it two thumbs up!! UPDATED: JAN 15, 2004 Probably the best light beer made, one of them anyways. Taste is crystal clear, with no cereal/grainy taste. Has a bit of a sour malt taste to go along with it, on the finish. Clean and crisp and what a light beer should be.

At the Tampa brewery, a friendly place to visit by the way. Light maltish aroma. A grainy citrus brew. Pretty good for factory light beer. indysigner (14) - Milton, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 12, 2001
For a light beer, this stuff is excellent and has a good flavor (unlike watered down light beers).
