Hallertau hops and Bavarian-style top-fermenting yeast deliver a thick, creamy head with overtones of banana and clove esters. This authentic German weizen style beer, with a slight hazy appearance, concludes with a crisp finish.

I guess I am not a fan of "wheat" beer. Barley is no longer a choice for brewers???? This beer has all the presence of a clean sheet of paper. Nothing to write home about, unless you like uneventful journies. I am no longer a huge fan of the Y breweries. Their beers tastes good at first. Then, as you taste a particular brew more than once, you start to pick up on the subtle oddities in their taste. Aftertastes become more obvious and the odd nuances of their ingredients become very noticed. At this point, their Black and Tan is about all I have drank from them, which I still care to drink. Although, Y uses GMO ingredients, so Im no longer a fan at all.......

what a spritey summer brew with big flavor and body just a bit slick and refreshing with a sudsy finish! somewhat sweet and big on German/Belgian beer spice. i like the way it's put together i like the satisfying components. and the price of $6.99 for 6 is just an indication that someone likes to brew beer and wants others to try it. and at 4.5 abv you can drink some. this beer is a winner.

Know up front that I am a fan of real old-style beers - anything other than grain, malt, and hops usually turns me off. Too much Clove in this. All the flavors you read in other reviews for this beer are accurate, and I find them unpalatable. There is no finish to this beer, only a fuzzy aftertaste.

pours a very cloudy yellow gold with a creamy white head. Classic hefe aroma of banana and clove. Delicious taste! Lightly sweet, spicy, and a hint of bubble gum. Pleasant finish with the taste lingering in a nice way. A really good hefe!

The best American made German style wheat. It is a nice rendition of the popular German Hefeweizen made by Weinhenstephaner, Tucker, and Hofbrau. It has an excellent banana front with a clove finish. I like to see a little lighter color in a wheat beer, but this likely uses American or English wheat instead of German white.

Bottle. Hazy golden thin white lacing. Aroma of spices, clove, light banana. Medium-high sweetness. Medium-light body, finishes light sweet and spice. Good representation of style and better than anticipated.

Very good hefe Wiesen from all American brewer. Not over priced has the bannana and hint of clove taste of a lot of the German wheat beers and I lived there for 4 years and had a lot. Love yuengling brewing company as they support the constitution. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 4/22/2016. Pours very hazy golden yellow/orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/earthy yeast and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange, banana, bubblegum, clove, white pepper, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/grainy mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very nice hefeweizen. All around nice robustness and balance of fruity/earthy yeast and bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the ABV, with an impressive mouthfeel as well. A very enjoyable offering.

bottled - aroma and flavor of banana and cloves. Cloudy yellow/golden color. A good summer beer. Deducting a point for their anti-union stance though.
