Poured an amber color with small white bubbly head. A pretty good lager. Not really much flavor to it though. jezmez68 (404) - Chesterton, Indiana, USA - JUL 1, 2003
Decent Lager for the price. They finally have this in a lot of east coast stores now. I have been told about this beer for years. For all of you Leinie Lovers, this one has a similar personality. McWhite (108) - Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2003
This is probably the best lager that's guaranteed to be on tap at any decent restaurant in Pennsylvania. It's a pretty decent lager, especially for the price. I recommend trying their porter also. drewcifer85710 (158) - Youngstown, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2003
Nice for a lager, which is not quite my favorite style. Smooth and a little sweet. Nothing at all offensive. monkeyman (57) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2003
0399 case code (bottles) … Pours beautifully, then trouble! Fizzy corn water. From the bottle, devoid of any flavor; from the can, occasional horrific chemical under/ overtones. Geezus... could that can-based off-flavor be bathroom cleaner?

The best of the Yuengling line. Always cheap in Pittsburgh, but I have drank way too much of it to enjoy it anymore. AtomBombOfLove (30) - Marina Del Rey, California, USA - JUN 19, 2003
A great beer at a great price and brewed in nearby PA...a local place by me serves a 5 dollar wings and Yuengling special....best idea ever. DragonStout (1416) - Groveport, Ohio, USA - JUN 19, 2003
This was a good german style beer. This is the beer i drink when iam having more than one or when guests are coming over. Not bitter and goes down smooth with a little aftertaste. haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - JUN 16, 2003
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2003 This is my #1 one beer of choice. A very good lager and it is very easy to drink. Smooth taste. Great beer. maxwellplum (54) - USA - JUN 13, 2003
A good one at the end of a long day, it goes down good when it's ice cold (the beer) and hot (outside). Nothing special in any shape way or form. Better than the macros......
