COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An iconic American lager famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor - with a roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with very distinct character.

The locals really love this stuff, but I have to say its not really my favorite at all. Its not a bad lager, but theres better to be had. Not quite sure why everyone loves this as much as they do. A standard beer that could be better.

Ahh, tasty! A good straight forward beer. I'm drinking one right now.

This Mid-Atlantic "classic" is only a mediocre beer. It's well carbonated, and nicely colored, but has a corny-adjunct taste as well as a not-so pleasant smell.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2006 A great everyday refreshing beverage. Head formation is normal and will dissipate. Color is golden. Taste is smooth with a slight hopiness. It beats the big brewer products. This is my normal everyday beer. It does beat all the big ad project beers.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2008 Its nice amber color at least makes it look like a high quality beer, has a nice head and a mild sweetness. Hop presence is lacking but this beer is still the best cheap mass produced beer you will find, and I drink ALOT of it.

Smells like an average lager, has a good mild taste! Better than most readily available lagers, but not too full of taste. A great buy especially around the Washington, DC area!

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2003 A pretty good lager. Good on a hot day. Has a malty taste but not too heavy. Overall a good lager. Has a somewhat sweet aftertaste. Creamy head, but doesn't hold up well. It's overall a good lager, but seems to suffer from the mass quantity syndrome of huge batches.

I like Lager Light better, but this is the Original. Anywhere in Eastern PA, South Jersey, just say gimme a Lager..this is it.
