Panzerfaust (877) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - OCT 30, 2016
12 fl.oz. bottle. Gift from Eduardo Ruiz-Tagle. Pours a beautiful clear amber with a big white frothy head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with subtle malt undertones balancing towards a bready, cakey note. Predominant hints of grass, herbs, some touches of lemon. Taste is a tiny bit sweet with low herbal bitterness, and lots of neutral bready and doughy flavors. Herbs come to the fore again at the finish. Not bad, but a bit watery. Light bodied, high carbonation. Well balanced, quaffable Amber Lager... a bit too light for my taste. tbonde (364) - DENMARK - OCT 29, 2016

7 degrees C. Pours amber/reddish brown with sufficient off white head with OK retention. Aroma of roasted malt and slight hoppiness. Taste mirrors aroma with plenty of well balanced roasted malt and toffee with a slight hoppy bitterness which is retained in the aftertaste. Texture a little waterey. Not unlike a Danish "Classic" brew. Pleasant surprise....well balanced, pure and decent tasting.
0.33 Flasche. Normales Bier, nichts spezielles. Wobei eine gute Alternative zum Pils in USA! Leicht würzig hopfig, süßlich. User134089 (1644) - - OCT 19, 2016

Had this many times, including a keg of it back for New Year’s Eve in 2002. Used to think it was good, but recently didn’t enjoy it according to Untappd. First time reviewing it.
Poured a reddish brown amber color with two fingers of grayish frothy head. Could see a few bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Minimal foggy lacing. Average retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Smelled boozy lager notes up front, followed by roasty malts, nuts, amber malts, toasted caramel, toffee and plum. (Smell - 3.25)
Tasted a touch better than the nose. Nutty malts, caramel, roasty malts, toffee and plum. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Roasty finish. (Feel - 3.25)
This was an OK beer when reviewing it. I may have underrated it just at ad. (Overall - 3.25)

Tap at plantation golf club, florida. Deep golden color, white head. Aroma has mainly malts, hint of fruits. Balanced malty body, little bit watery, quite pure taste.

From bottle. Clear golden color with little to no head. No lacing. Sweet but otherwise characterless aroma and taste. Thin medium-bodied. Little or no hop character. Rather plain. truebluehes (211) - Tipton, Iowa, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle. Actually quite awesome for what it is. Smooth, balanced, traditional. For a lager with this old of tradition it's quite impressive.

This is a wonderfully traditional beer. It is not meant to be the highest quality beer, but to be the reasonably priced blue collar beer. Much better on tap than in the bottle, however this is true for most beers. If I had my pick this is what I will usually go for.
On another note, some of these reviews seem to be for the light version and not the original lager. The clear straw color is Yuengling light, not the lager. The lager pours a darker caramel color CaverP (32) - Holte, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2016
En fin pilsner lidt som en clasic øl type. Fin smag uden for meget bitterhed. sjkrieth (3) - Niles, Michigan, USA - AUG 21, 2016 does not count

A fantastic beer for either drinking with food or just enjoying after a hard day of work.
