As far as standard American beers go, this is so much better in taste than Bud, Coors, etc. For this price, added to the novelty of drinking the oldest beer in America, what a deal! Can’t go wrong here.

Not much in aroma, the appearance is a clear brown color and taste has a bit of sweetness to it, not at all bad. A huge step up from "Budweiser" or "Miller", it’s something you can drink a six pack of in one sitting.

This is my favorite 'anytime' beer. I recently had the wonderful experience of purchasing a keg of this and it was fantastic. Especially at a cheaper price than Bud or Miller.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2013 I guess I’m just biased, being from SE Pennsylvania this is THE staple beer. I’ve tried hundreds of others, but I always come back to this one. Always smooth and balanced, your first one is always as good as the twelth of the evening. Oldest continuously operating brewery in America, you gotta love it!

Great beer right out of Pennsylvania that has blossomed onto the national scene of late.

I really enjoy drinking this beer. It is a good beer to have while manning the grill or hanging out with friends. It is easy drinking, not too strong with little to no after taste.

The man who says this has no flavor is obviously lacking taste-buds. Lager is usually cheap swill, however, for an everyday beer (or something to enjoy at your barbeque or tailgate), this is probably the best bang for your buck. Excellent quality, and far more flavor than the large competition.

Draft from The Gatherings Pub in Erie, PA. Light amber colored with a fair head. Better than the typical lager, but not going to blow anyone’s socks off. Very drinkable and a good beer for the price.
