UPDATED: MAY 24, 2008 A good, dependable lager for everyday drinking. Light brown color. Good taste balance but best cold. Good carbonation. Good value. jtribe21 (21) - Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 4, 2002

Not bad... not great; mild hops yes, slight maltiness... smooth, crisp and refreshing CrimsonGhost1971 (188) - USA - NOV 14, 2002
This isn't the greatest beer but when you're sitting with friends this is one that fits the moment. Good crisp taste. Mild aftertaste. ;) Dorwart (2609) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - DEC 14, 2002
Nice frothy head which disappears in about 10 seconds. Slightly skunky aroma. Medium amber color. Drinks easy but with a slight iron taste which was not appealing. Mild hop finish but with little character. I can't believe that I used to drink this stuff regularly. Ok for a lager and for mass consumption. Better than most of your mass produced crap. Still, I wouldn't brag about this to your friends.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2003 I am always surprised when people rave about Yuengling. I think the farther you are away from pennsylvania the more you might like the beer. I myself can barely finish a bottle anymore nothing special. funcut (733) - SIBENIK, CROATIA - SEP 15, 2015
zahvaljujuci vedranu dosli smo i do ovog piva ...limenka zanimljiva ...tanko pivo slabog okusa ...boja je dosta dobra kao i pjena ..nakon pocetnog odusevljenja izgledom okusom se razocaras ...steta bwa5879 (959) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 13, 2015
Fairly clear Amber color with half inch offwhite head. Sweet caramel aroma with some grain and metallic hops. Lovely carbonation, mouthfeel average and a bit foamy, finishes very crisp. Flavor follows the nose, with a bit of cream, not too rough but average. Like a macro lager with some cream and Carmel. Kleurplaatje (212) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 28, 2016
Can. Decent lager. Nothing much special about it, but when I was in the US this was an easy to drink, cheap quencher. Malty in taste, mildly bitterish. Not too watery. Like said, nothing that special, but at least better than all the ’light’ cr*p that is served. tntracey (109) - Hood River, Oregon, USA - MAY 14, 2017
A solid lager that always pleases while visiting SE Pennsylvania. Almost considered a staple in these parts!
