I lived in Germany and this is the only beer that comes close to the beer I had there. Love it! FORTY DOGG (22) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 11, 2002
UPDATED: FEB 9, 2003 This is truly good beer, as a matter of fact, its one of the only normal beers I'll drink, I didn't know beer could actually taste good. Since it would be just plain fuckin wierd to sit down and kill a 40 of St. Ides, say at Red Lobster, or Olive Garden, like when I'm with my Bitch for instance, this would be my choice. I mean come on, I have a little class! Note; I Once bought Yuengling Premium Beer by mistake (they look similar), I will never confuse the two again! The most amazing beer ever tasted. If you're from Pennsylvania and you don't love it...i don't know what to say. It tastes delicious and has a full body. Not a binge drinking type of a beer, but perfect for the enjoyment of the taste. BrewWhisperer47 (4) - Umatilla, Florida, USA - APR 6, 2017 does not count

hands down the best thing out there. I stand by this stuff like I stand by the liquor store every morning waiting for it to open. So you can go ahead and drink your premium imports but if you want real quality come to Pa and sample Pottsville’s finest soulfly967 (5) - Zelienople, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2002 does not count
This is by far one of the best beers that I have ever tasted. tiktokfx99 (2) - USA - APR 23, 2002 does not count
Yuengling is the best beer EVER made in the US. And it’s not expensive either. DJFreed (4) - Corpus Christi, Texas, USA - MAY 29, 2006 does not count
I prefer this beer as a light beer over the American standards of Budwiser and Miller. Unfortunately I have not found it in Arizona or Texas so it’s mostly a vacation beer for me when I go to Pennsylvania or Florida. zozo (1) - USA - FEB 7, 2007 does not count
Yuengling is brewed in my home state, Pa. When Dick reintroduced the traditional lager in the mid 80,s he took a chance. Everyone loved it. Now all the breweries jumped on the bandwagon the last ten years, big and micro. Thanks to Dick Yuengling taking this gamble ,20 years ago , all of us can now enjoy the way beer tasted before the days of prohibition from all of americas brewers. It’s amazing that Yuengling is only available in about eight states and yet is the fifth largest brewery in the U.S. The rest of you people in the U.S. that aren’t in this area of distribution don’t know what you are missing. I feel sorry for you.
