341 ml bottle. Pours a clear, dark amber with a small, short lived, beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel malt and fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt and a hint of hops with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Luvystypotables (1917) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Weak aroma of malt and pine, great looking copper color with a lasting cream colored well laced head. Very sessionable with a pleasant malt and hop taste. Creamy feel with a mildly bitter finish. BeerAndPonies (171) - Medicine Hat, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 20, 2014
341 ml bottle purchased singly from Sobeys Liquor (from the "scratch and dent/some jerk tried to break a 6/8/12-pack, so here are the orphaned remainders to try" shelf), and served in a novelty Christmas footed pilsner glass. Pours a beautifully clear, deep ruby brown (very Christmasy), with two fingers of creamy, lasting well-composed head a little darker than light tan, patching the glass with spotty, webby rings of lace. Aroma is made up of dark red fruit, spice, toasty malt, caramel, and touches of mocha, flowers, and pine. Flavor is more restrained, with maltiness in abundance followed by dry, flowery, piney hops, and finishing with a touch of peppery spice on the tip of the tongue. Body is moderate and carbonation is low. It comes off luring you in with fruitiness and sweetness on the nose, but delivers a more regular pale ale flavor; a little distracting, but certainly not unpleasant. Nicely drinkable and a solid brew from our friends in the Yukon. manuelMTL (240) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 24, 2014
