Pours a lightly colored gold with a small fizzy head. Clean nose, with some bready maltiness. Not bad, I am sure it tasted better because I was tired and hungry having had driven all the way from Anchorage to Whitehorse in one shot. Very crisp with some pleasant carbonation and a clean finish. DuffMan (10434) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 19, 2008
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2012 This used to be a standard non-swill lager I would keep on hand for my non-adventursome beer friends. I just had it this past weekend at Rockley’s 40th. It was a shadow of the lager I once knew. Gone are the lovely fruit nuances and tasty cookie malts. This was a grainy, slightly sweet, barely hopped, nearly characterless lager. I could find no BBD on the label, so maybe it was an old bottle (I tried a second, same thing). My older ratings showed different impressions at different times. I wonder if freshness is to blame, or if brewer consistency is at fault? I would need to try this fresh, at the brewery, on tap to be certain. One ticket to Whitehorse please... a delicious lager... light but with a full flavour, lightly hopped, fruity aroma... pintbypint (3641) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 4, 2007
341ml brown bottle. Pours very pale yellow, seems to have a little chill haze. Head is small, short lasting, white in colour. Aroma is sweet, hint of juicy fruit gum. Flavour is grainy malt, some fruitiness (apple, faint pear) and sweetness, trace of herbal hops. Finishes with some caramel malt and grain notes. Fairly dry finish.

Nothing special to smell. Light hops, malty and almost no barley, I got no fruit here. I almost caught a hint of 7-up in there too...? Appearence is bland, yellow with a hint of dirty light brown. Flavor is light and hoppy. Palate was quite pleasent soft yet sizzling carbonation, matched with an equal head. undsioux7 (872) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - DEC 2, 2006
Pours clear light golden color. Nice hoppy fruity aroma. Decent flavor, nice palate. Very good lager, don’t know why it’s rated so low so far.

This beer is okay too! Very Light. Golden yelllow, lots of carbonation. The other beers from this company are more craft style.

unusual aroma - tangerine, licorice and some malt. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow-orange, minimal head and carbonation. Body is light. Slight acid profile makes it mildly refreshing.
