Pours a hazy golden amber colour with big initial white head that quickly dissolves into a a light ring around the glass and leaves a little lace up the sides. Aromas of grass, mild citrus, and some british caramel malt. Flavour consists of a moderate bitterness, faint british malts coming through with a touch of biscuit but overall a bit thin on the malts for an english ipa. Though must give props for the 6abv and doing a quite session-able beer out of the norm. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 30, 2012
Pours a clear golden with a nice frothy white hat. Aroma of some citrus but really grassy & malty. Smells of the fuggle variety. Taste is a little something else surprised that it’s six percent as it’s really thin and could benefit from more hops and a bigger malt profile. Taste is light malts with some bitterness on the finish. Entry Level ipa. Cinctus (201) - - OCT 22, 2012
Bitter, golden beer with a mild bitterness and hay-like sugary notes. Light bodied. Unremarkable IPA. kliggerwar (155) - - OCT 18, 2012
Smells like an ipa, taste like an ipa. It must be a ipa too bad i don’t really like ipas blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 30, 2012
Draught at The Gold Pan Saloon. Pours a clear golden-orange with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Some lacing on the glass. Mild aroma is slightly vegetal, I get peas, along with light hops, pale malt and some fruit. Flavour is a bit sweet and fruity along with pale malt, light hops and caramel. Average to medium bodied. I didn’t know the style when I had it but I’d have guessed an American style Lager, its not hoppy enough for me or the style.

Sampled at the GCBF. Lightly hued, mild mark on the glass. Aroma of berries and caramel. Flavour is mild bitterness with a very strong dry malt way back there, which becomes all the more apparent when you hold your nose. Finish is a tad bit sour, meaning mildly off. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 1, 2012
Bottle, from trade with fiulijn. A small, off-white head sits on top of a more or less clear, golden body. The aroma is lightly citrusy, lightly malty, and rather pleasant, although a bit weak. Fruity, citrusy flavor with some peach hints. Pale malts as a foundation, and there’s also something lightly spicy going on. Decent bitterness, both initially and in the end. Medium to full body, pleasant carbonation. Not really my idea of an IPA, but it’s a decent and quaffable beer anyway. 111229 thb (829) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 13, 2012
Pours darkish amber, some head. Aromas are grainy malt with just a hint of caramel/treacle. Hops make their presence known in a floral, fruity, peachy mix. Bitterness/sweetness balance out in a mild bitter finish. Pleasant, easy to drink. gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 25, 2012
Bottle. Deep golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is peach, malt, caramel, fruit. Flavour is peach, malt, caramel, fruit, citrus. medium body. OK beer. Appreciator (26) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - APR 17, 2012
I would describe this as a gateway IPA. Pours hazy orange with a white head which fully diminishes. An inviting aroma with a low intensity, smelling classic IPA. Bread, floral, citrus, grass. Low intensity for an IPA, low body, with a medium aftertaste. thin creamy texture, with bitter, fruity flavors. balanced, complex quality. In between a classic IPA and a commercial IPA. Appreciated.
