This golden amber I.P.A. has a thick creamy head and a citrusy hop aroma. The flavors of whole leaf Cascade, Centennial, and Kent Goldings hops make for a complex hop character while a toasty malt balances the finish.

opaque orange, sweet and tart citrus aroma, light body, plenty of hop flavor on a dry carmel malt base, long bitter finish that’s too long and too bitter,

Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of citrus and perfumy. Tastes resiny and bitter with some caramel on the finish.

georgekappus (296) - Brookfield, Connecticut, USA - APR 25, 2008
Bottle. Pours a murky amber with a thin white head and good retention. Aroma was hoppy, with sweet citrus. Tasted very hoppy with East Coast hops and the citrus hits in the aftertaste. The palate was full bite and carbonation.

golubj (1377) - San Mateo, California, USA - APR 3, 2008
Bottle. Light amber / gold pour with some white head. Aroma is citrusy and a little malty. Toasted malt, citrus hop, and earthy hop flavor. The mouthfeel is nice and light, but the hoppiness is a little metallic. Slightly dry finish with a little bitterness.

IrishBoy (4254) - Bakersfield, California, USA - DEC 14, 2007
12 oz bottle from Alldaydrinker; nose of flowery hops with some light pine and background caramel; hazy copper with a medium straw head; flavor of light to moderate hop bitterness and a little caramel balance.

kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2007
12 oz bottle, Julio’s Liquors. Pours a clear gold body with a one finger plus fizzy white head. Lots of delicate lacing. Light visible carbonation. Nose is moderately hoppy with perfumy floral hops and minimal malt impact. Pretty restrained hoppiness with just a light bitterness. Minimal toasted and doughy maltiness showing through. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a watery texture and moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, an average IPA at best. Could use a little more brightness and aggressiveness.

Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 20, 2007
An above average IPA with three hops: Cascade, Centennial, and Kent. Bitter and full bodied, a good palate cleaner. Golden peachy colour with moderate white head. Fresh and refreshing. Some leafy mintness in finish. Appropriately carbonated.

JAF737300 (1291) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 7, 2007
Poured yellow with a medium head. The notes of hops on the nose seemd a bit grassy. Teh mouthfeel had a deep bitterness with a long bitter finish but some odd metallic flavors.

Bottle. This poured bright yellow-orange with a massive barrier of rocky, firm foam protecting the beer below. Little aroma can penetrate this fortress of foam, but eventually there’s a bit of a fruity, grassy waft. Onto the tongue, the initial impression is a very dry and acidic hoppiness. As I go, the bitterness mellows a bit but still rears its head as the final bit of aftertaste on every swallow. Added to the earthy hops is a caramel appleyness. Could’ve done a bit better with the balance on this one, as it comes off a bit harsh. This would still pair nicely with my wife’s spicy humus or some nice firey chicken wings. (#3101, 9/23/2007)
