Christian (13815) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2008
Light amber with a small white head. Ar0oma has some butterscotch, pilsner malt sulphur and a little caramel. Flavour begins sweet, but has a good bitter hop attack.

thewolf (12800) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2008
Tap @ Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen.
Pours amber with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, good caramel notes. Rather thin mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, lightly metallic, some light hoppy dryness and a fair dose of caramel.

KimJohansen (10497) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2008
Clear deep amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with hoppy and caramel notes. Flavor is sweet with caramel malt, hops and fruity notes. Ends bitter.

MartinT (10036) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2013
My Bottom Line:
This velvety Polotmava shares lots of yeasty aromas atop herbal hops and caramel malts.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A super creamy, thick head of foam covers the cloudy dark amber.
-This might not be a refined example, but it is comfy and flavorful.
-Light fruitiness is found. With the yeasty touch, it points towards short lagering...
-Mouthfeel is very rich and creamy. As if a touch of nitrogen was used to carbonate the beer...

On tap at the brewpub.

Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 20, 2008
draught at Vonarna U vestonickeho venouse in Prague. Amber colour, slightly hazy, large and very creamy head. Full-bodied, very malty with hints of caramel and roasted malt. A tiny touch of fruit is also present. Hoppy and dry in the finish. A very well-balanced Vienna - heavenly!

Svesse (8786) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2008
(Draught at U Věstonického Venouše, Prague, 21 July 2008) Pale amber colour, cloudy, with a frothy, white head. Malty, yeasty, citric nose with notes of hay and lemon. Malty, yeasty taste with toffee, caramel, hay and a grassy, bitter finish. Slightly citric (or acidic), starts sweet and turnes drier towards the finish. Rather complex. Nice, but kind of strange.

ogivlado (8097) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 3, 2008
Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen.
The eighth beer of the Vinarna Hrozen tasting at the RBESG 2008. Light hazy amber coloured, small (almost no) beige head, dusty nose. Aroma of hops and caramel with nutty notes and light touch of alcohol in the herbal hoppy finish.
