Bottle 50cl. Poured into a lager glass. Clear pale golden, small frothy white head, fairly lasting, light lacing; aroma pale malts, grain, bit basement; taste medium sweet and light to medium bitter, malty, grainy, bit fruit, cardboard; sweetbitter aftertaste, malty and husky notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; bit hard on the palate, but otherwise good for a glutenfree beer. (Žatec Celia) Bottle 500ml at Parga, Greece. ABV 4.5%
Golden yellow colour on the body, clear, with a small and thin white head on top, low retention.
The aroma has light malts presence, hints of hops actually, fresh grass and straw.
Taste has grass, lemon touches, noble hops, straw and mild bitterness.
Medium thin body, good carbonation.
Pretty good, especially for a gluten free beer, thankfully it lacks the typical aroma and taste the beers of this kind. BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2017
330ml bottle: BBD 5th Dec 2017. Shared with minutemat on 22nd May 2017, just before the Shrewsbury monthly bottle exchange group meeting. Thin white head on a golden body. Aroma was malty and corny, as was the taste. Pleasant enough on a hot evening and a good prelude to the heavier beers that were to come when the others arrived. minutemat (5545) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2017
330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, courtesy of Haddock. Pours a clear gold, thin ring of head. Aroma is lightly corny, syrup, sweetcorn. Taste is clean and quenching, no off flavours, not too bad really. klukas (272) - Rijeka, CROATIA - MAY 19, 2017
Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into both mug and lager glass.
Appearance: Clear golden colour, with small head.
Aroma: Weak aroma of grains and malt.
Palate: Light body, watery; light carbonation.
Taste: Sweet, corn, gentle bitterness.
Overall impression: Quite good and drinkable, but nothing memorable. It is better to drink from lager glass than from a mug.
