Bottle shared by atom. Deep, rich maple color with a small white head. Aroma mainly consists of caramel, maybe some chocolate, and maybe some bread-like character. Taste has toast, raisins, slight caramel and toffee. Nice creamy, and lighter, body. Pretty damn good, especially considering I’m not a big fan of the style.

Bottle pours a murky brown with an amber hue and a medium tan head. Aroma is musky, with toffee, raisin, dark malts, chocolate, and yeast. Taste is chocolate, some hops, yeast, dark malts, with a mild bitterness. Clean and drinkable. Yum!

ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - SEP 25, 2011
This Czech lager has a sweet, grainy aroma with notes of banana, roasted malt, slight peat and wood, subtly soapy. It looks thin, dark and somewhat transparent. Smooth in the mouth with a flavor more mellow than its aroma. Full, roasted, and with only a light lager finish. Very nice.

magsinva (1250) - Virginia, USA - SEP 5, 2011
bottle - Pours a dark drown. Not getting much aroma from this beer. Taste is roasty and a little sweet. Palate is light bodied. Overall, OK, but not my favorite.

A pretty good dark lager. Not my favorite style, but this one had a decent amount of body and a simple yet enjoyable flavor.
