Dark lager with a fast disappearing beige head. Nose is a roasted malt, nuts and plums. Body is medium soft sweet and bitter. Plums, caramel and hints of chocolate on palate. Bitter finish. [email protected]
Bottle shared by atom. Deep, rich maple color with a small white head. Aroma mainly consists of caramel, maybe some chocolate, and maybe some bread-like character. Taste has toast, raisins, slight caramel and toffee. Nice creamy, and lighter, body. Pretty damn good, especially considering I’m not a big fan of the style. Appearance: Pours dark brown with a medium sized beige head and good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts, sweet toffee, honey and wheat
Taste: Toasted malts, grainy, sweet, honey, wheat and a tangy finish
Nice and enjoyable.
This Czech lager has a sweet, grainy aroma with notes of banana, roasted malt, slight peat and wood, subtly soapy. It looks thin, dark and somewhat transparent. Smooth in the mouth with a flavor more mellow than its aroma. Full, roasted, and with only a light lager finish. Very nice. magsinva (1493) - Virginia, USA - SEP 5, 2011
bottle - Pours a dark drown. Not getting much aroma from this beer. Taste is roasty and a little sweet. Palate is light bodied. Overall, OK, but not my favorite. DiarmaidBHK (6143) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 5, 2011

A pretty good dark lager. Not my favorite style, but this one had a decent amount of body and a simple yet enjoyable flavor.
