Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 10, 2009
Deep dark amber colored with huge light brown head. Sweet aroma with sugary-caramelly notes, some grass also comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is not so sweet with caramel still, some chocolate-roastiness comes up too. Aftertaste dries with mild hops. Convenient, but rather boring dunkel. fonefan (48784) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2009

(Bottled, sampled earlier when RB was broken) Very dark, reddish brown with a medium, lightly lemonadey and lacy, fading head. Lightly roasty malt in the flavor, with grassy-herby hops and a touch of chocolate. Roasty-caramely, slightly sweet-sour-malty flavor with some burnedness, herby hops, and moderately bitter and metallic in the finish. Light to medium, quite thin body with fizzy-lemonadey carbonation. No Xmasy or warming qualities here. Too thin to compete with anything but Finnish bulk Xmas beers. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 21, 2009
