Clear dark amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, burnt caramel, light sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Both bitternes and sweet is burnt caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

From tap at Pivovarsky Klub as Zatec Xantho Mimoradny Special 15. Pours dark and hazy brown with a light tan head. Aroma is mild roasted malt. Flavour is mild sweetend with a light breadish note and mild roasted malt flavour. Ends mild roasted and mild spiced towards butterish.6-3-6-3-13=3.1

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2008 Draught@Pivovarsky Klub. Deep ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some rubbery notes as well as mild sugar. Bottled, from Alko. Very deep ambery brown colour with mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is mild caramel, some not-too-sweet syrup, mild sugar as well as some bready malts. Flavour is licorice, ryebread, some sweetish cookies as well as quite strong Saazy grassyness. 7 4 7 4 15
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of thewolf. Pours a clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and burned caramel. Quite full-bodied with sweet burned caramel, almost like rock candy. Subdued bitterness. Lovely. 270608

Draught at Prague Beer Museum. Clear deep amber/mahogany beer with a rich lasting beige head. Roasted malt aroma, sourish notes, hazelnuts, caramel, some chocolate. Roasted chocolate flavor, caramel, toffee notes, raisins, some coffee notes. A bit thin bodied. Roasted and fruity finish with caramel and chocolate.
