Belgian strong Ale with sugar, that’s the easy way to describe the beer. In fact it’s difficult to say more about it. Well, I can add the taste of alcohol.

Brownish colour with minimal head. Rather high carbonation. On the sweet end of the tongue. Candi sugar? Feels like a watered down version of rochefort.

Odeur de miel. Fort sucré. Le goût de sucre masque tout le reste. Alcool fort présent.

Dark brown, cloudy appearance. Waterish aroma and taste, however can deel roasted malt, caramel and some fruity lines. However, the water line makes it refreshing

Dark brown almost black with small beige head. Sweetsour fruity taste followed by moderate bitterness, staying in the aftertaste.

Notes from early 90s (and haven’t had it very often anymore since). Bottle. Brown color. Aroma’s: sweet, herbs & spices. Flavor is moderate to full sweet. Quite strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied.. Finishes with a herbal bitterness.

Bottle at home from Brussels, 6th April 15. Ruby red brown, aroma is caramel, dark fruit, sweet. Taste is sweet, caramel raisins, not overly sweet, mouth feel thin. Not a bad beer

Brune foncée, effervescence moyenne-faible, quasi pas de col. Principalement maltée, léger caramel, un peu douce, vaguement épicée, manque clairement de caractère pour une brune.

Pours caramelly dark , very dark brown. Clear . Small to no white head. Smell is sweet maltyness . Taste is sweet, bitter , aromatic maltyness . Bit burned maltyness . Nice
