On Tap at Zauber’s Taproom on 4/10. This is a copper to brownish pour with a thin head of off white bubbles. Nose is a bit sweet and floral hops but not exactly belgian in nature. taste is dryer and hoppier than anticipated. a nice malt body througout. Medium hoppy finish. Said to be in a belgian style, but this brewer focuses on german styles and it is clear. this seems to be what a german brewer would come up for a belgian style. not a bad beer. just not what you’d imagine.
On tap at the source. copper orange pour with a white head. aroma of floral and caramel malt. tastes of grapefruit, toffee, floral, grass, fresh tree vibe (spruce?), earthy. Ok. - 6.8

On tap at the brewery. Hazy amber orange red color. Thin off-white head. Leaves thicker lace. Medium body, smooth kind of creamy texture, good full body. Kind of slick. Good toasty kind of citrusy aroma, nice amount of belgian yeast. Nice balanced flavor. Moderate sweet taste, lightly peppery. Very light sweet. Pretty solid, balanced belgian ale. Sample at Barley’s Ale House #1. The beer is a clear copper-orange color with a medium dense white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of fruity malt, caramel and yeast. Light-bodied with flavors of ripe fruit, caramel malt and yeast. The finish is malty with notes of hops and yeast left behind. Decent overall.
