Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and a bit of butter - very Czech in its expression. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hay, and hints of butter, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Golden pour some fine bubbled head. Aroma of barley and sheep’s yogurt. Tastes the same. some creaminess to palate. Pretty good for a pils. Unique flavor.

3 July 2017, bottle. Yellow, clear, some bubbles, faint sediment. nose is syrup/liquid malt extract. thin/med body and mildly fizzy. tastes like fake malt beer. mildly sweet, a bit of caramel. meh.

bierkoning (13689) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2009
Bottle from Nightfall, thanks! Pale golden color. Grainy flavor with a touch of flowery hops. No specific aromas. A soft grassy bitterness in the short aftertaste. Simple, straightforward but drinkable pilsener.

Gold-accented amber. The aroma is strong hop - I think it’s fuggles or something like that, actually. Not a hop I favour, anyway. Earthy taste, slight caramel malts. Lots of those same hops, kind of toasty overall. Decent pils but that’s not my favourite hop.

Solid pilsner with pretty decent flavor. It is crisp, refreshing, and has more flavor than your run-of-the-mill pilsners, so a thumbs up in my book.
