Pours a hazy medium orangish amber color. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty, with a touch of fruit. Flavor is a nice mixture of malts and fruits.

Flaske 0,33l på Afspanning t’ Waagstuk, Antwerpen 28 Apr 11. Amber. Medium luftig skum. Aroma med karamell. Søt fruktsmak: Plommer. Litt karamell igjen. Mye kullsyre. Blir vel søt. Alkoholen godt kamuflert. Mye sedimenter i flaska.

33cl Bottle. Brewed 08/07. Trade with HenrikB. Pours dark ruby amber with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is dark fruit, caramel and molasses and a vague oxidation underneath. Vinous flavor - dark fruit, liquorice , caramel and a clearer note of cellar. Smooth and full bodied. Probably really good when fresh!

330ml bottle, house beer at Afspanning ‘t Waagstuk. Pours a clear, dark brown body with ruby highlights, hazy last pour. Decent beige head, reduced to a patchy surface. Smell of dark malts with yeasty fruitiness beneath. Lots of dried fruits in flavour together with brown malts. Bittersweet alcohol to the ending. Oily palate. Well made, and pleasing despite of all the sweetness (Antwerpen, 28.04.2011).

[email protected]: bit sweet with a deep, full dark malt taste which is followed by ripe dark fruits (emphasis on figs) which blossoms with a slight dark chocolate finish, hint of toffee, worth getting if you are in ‘t Waagstuk which is the only place where you can get this if I am not mistaken, if you look only at the black of the drawing on the bottle from a distance, it kind of looks like an eel

faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - FEB 7, 2011
De Botella, gracias al Don Morten. Muddy dark brown colour, short beige head. Sweet aroma of dark fruit and caramel with yeast and a dark maltiness. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is in the sweet end with dark fruits, yeast, caramel, a dark maltiness and spice like. Sweet finish, caramel, dark fruity and yeasty.

Bottle. [thank you, Skou]
Pours clear amber with a small, creamy and slightly frothy off-white head. Aroma has liqourice, is vinious, yeast and sweet caramel. Very well balanced. Lightish mouthfeel, but still kind of oily. Flavour is sweet, liqourice, ginger, vinious and a dry, flowery finish. Nice.
