tap last year at the brewpub - Pours light copper colored with a little haze and heavy lacing. It smells of caramel and citrus. It has moderate hops bitterness and a lightly toasted caramel malt flavor. Good brew. robinvboyer (4683) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 8, 2012
.on tap at American Flatbread, labeled as gre8tful anniversary ale.
Nice juicy hop aroma, solid pine, and citrus. Light bready malts, solid bitternes. Super flavorful for such a low alcohol beer. Impressivly drinkable, loved it. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 3, 2011
In short: A pleasant 3.8% low-intensity high-drinkability grassy/citrusy crisp pale ale.czar (9094) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 13, 2011
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear light golden body topped by a medium white head
In long: Nose is moderately hoppy (but hoppy enough for a 3.8% beer) with a fresh hops signature that is citrusy and leafy. Taste proposes a light but not watery body with crisp crackery malts. Dried fruits, citrus fruits, yellowed dry grass. Mild-medium bitterness with an after-taste that is mostly dry yellowed grass. Nothing intense here (it is a 3.8% beer after-all) but it was nonetheless very enjoyable and not bland by any means. I see that this beer is only getting low ratings, not surprising since it is a below 4% beer. But I liked this 3.8% beer, but I’m different, unlike everybody I believe that light beers can be satisfying and I also believe that opposites attack.
on tap at brewpub. golden-orange, nice white head, decent retention, strong lacing. nose of cereals, faint malts, strawberry hops. aggressive carbonation, light body. hbmason (1086) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - OCT 10, 2011
On draft at the brewery. Hazy yellow color. Drinkable. Not that special for an anniversary ale. Light hop aroma.
