16oz pour at Three Penny Taproom. Pours a clear, dark orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is dripping with honey comb, jackfruit, crackery malt, some orange peel, a little bit of dried fruit. Flavor has some golden raisin, honey comb, a little treacle, some mild orange, a little grape, some unripened pear. Full bodied finish. Solid bock. rotel (4) - USA - APR 28, 2014 does not count
Rich, golden aura with robust carbonation and active top. Slightly cloudy but colorful and rich.
Heavy malt and grain true to the bock signature. Slightly sweet but very earthy and deep.
Walks, talks and carries the bock title proudly. Just enough caramel malt to produce the sweetness that makes this a great Spring beer. Finishes nicely with a molasses high note.
Nicely done American Maibock that delivers everything you’d expect from Spring.

Aroma medium intense, Malty , sweet , hinted plum and faint red apple.
Top: off-white smaller creamy top
Base: hazed amber.
Palate : soft, smooth , easy going. Medium full bodied with average finish.
Taste: sweet, fruity with notes of plum. Hinted dry alcohol on top. Light bittering hop hints.
Other notes easy going with some heat but well done.
pours clear and pale yellow color with a big white head. aroma is typical German malts. very crisp easy to drink lager. once you start sipping you can taste the noble hops used which in my opinion stand out more than most typical lagers. absolutely perfect rendition of the style czar (9601) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 13, 2011

On tap at the Burlington location. I wasn’t quite sure how to label the beer style-wise...they called it a German Strong Lager. Poured a deep orange gold with a white head. Really tasted like I’d expect....easy to drink, crisp, some hay/straw in the flavor with a definite malt backbone. Pretty good.
