Growler poured this morning. Pale yellow hazy pour, nice white head. Aroma of lime, pineapple, orange and tart wheat. Flavor is essentially the same. Lemon, lime and tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. Very low bitterness. All the hops are up front. Really neither sweet nor dry. Very well crafted. Complex, balanced, interesting, unique. Love it. malrubius (2983) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - AUG 6, 2014
1/2 Growler from Joe’s. Clear gold with small head and lace. Beautiful citrus pastry bready floral aroma. Mild tangy apricot tropical fruit sweetness and wheat tang with assertive citrusy spicy hops accentuated by fine lively carbo and light body. Fucking excellent. Right up there with Gumball Head (which I now see I forgot to rate it each time I had it...fuck!) Berard (639) - Salem, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 22, 2013
Draft. Pours yellow orange with thick white head that lingers. Nice hop aroma with medium carbonation. The hop grapefruit flavors masks the wheat taste but enough cones through to make this beer quite enjoyable.

Pours beautifully hazy with a golden hue. Light on the nose, hint of straw. Palate is sticky and resinous, refreshing and easy without being boring. Citra forward with plenty of pine to back it up. Hint of banana, lots of round wheaty flavors. Sessionable IPA that doesn’t overwhelm or disappoint. muzzlehatch (4970) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 16, 2006
Draught pints (many over the past month) at the brewpub. OK so this is an attempt at a cross between a hefe and an IPA I guess...or something. Doesn’t really matter what ya call it if it turns out well, so here goes: pours a faintly hazy light gold with a moderate lasting creamy white head and very thick lacing coating the glass all the way down (there’s the hefe)....the aroma is hugely, I mean hugely fruity, with lots of PNW citric hops dominating, but also softer notes of sweet apple, banana, and a touch of sourdough....the body is fruity-sweet with that sour wheat malt making a nice subtle backdrop, grapefruit and bitter orange strong with faint touches of alcohol....super-juicy but never cloying or sticky mouthfeel, perfect moderate-to-high carbonation....somewhat hard, mineralic finish; crisp. I could drink this all day. Experiment: successful.

Sweet wheat malt and citrus hop scent come through. Happens it have what I think is perfect color which is hazy Orange golden color. Favor is banana clove herb foral and citrus rind hop flavor. Medium to full body with sweet crisp carbonation with creamy foamy head. Flavor comes and goes quick. Delicious ipa with nice wheat touch way to add a lil something extra. agl108 (1290) - Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2007
On draft at Flatbread, Burlington. Poured a hazy gold with fizzy white head. Good head retention that left splotches of lace. Nose was complex with both a citrus and bready yeast component. Oranges, lemons, grapefruits with a wheaty backbone. Very easy drinking. notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAR 26, 2008
Tap at Blind Tiger - I was a big fan of this one - very cloudy golden beer - nothing particularly wheaty about the aroma - it’s mostly floral, with some mild fruity sweetness, some soft earthy notes - very light and refreshing, with notes of citrus that play off the moderate hop profile and lightly tart wheat flavor really well - there are some earthy, spicy, and floral qualities that make the beer taste almost like a saison - very tasty - I would love have a pitcher of this on a hot day. radarsock (1207) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 17, 2013
Had on tap at Three Penny for $6. To pint, it pours a misty sawdust yellowish-orange with a brisk, trim off-white sudsy ringed head one pinky nail in length. Strong aromas of pine cones and bark, Vienna malt, denim jeans, cotton, grass, edamame, sage, wheat grain, rosemary, pilsener malt, and pork salt. Tastes the same with a wondrous burst of Pacific hops and blended yeasts by swallow. Great stuff here. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 8, 2013
On tap at blackback... Pours a golden hazy pale straw brown and topped with a fluffy white head... Aroma of juicy yet dry citra notes. Pungent with mild resin. Pretty surprised by how nice the hops come through. Nice... Flavors are more of the same with pale grain and more expressive citra presence. Really nicely surprised by this one. Medium bodied or just shy thereof. Solid and would have again.
