Tap at American Flatbread. Pours a medium bright copper with a thinning white head. Aroma is grassy, some orange- citrus hops, peppery phenolic belgian yeast, light caramel sweet hints with earthy dustiness. Flavor is more phenolic and peppery spice mixed with some earthy hops, slight citrus notes, caramel, light toast, biscuit, light honey sweetness and more citrus and bitter hops in the end. Pouring at session one of Belgian Beer Fest in Boston. Pours a mostly clear golden amber with a thin white head. Big fat citrus hops, spicy almost rye notes. Citrus, smooth and sweet malt. Spicy citrus notes, very tasty and well bodided. Smooth and sweet finish with some candied grapefruit.
