In short: A very soft rustic ale with green tea flavor and more… Strange but fun.Lubiere (13911) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2010
How: Tap at Vermont Brewer’s Festival 2010
The look: Clear yellow blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose of fresh bananas, rustic yeast and green tea. Taste has cracker malts (Premium Plus flavor), bananas, minerals (salt), green tea, lime. The Saison yeast comes back in the finish with a nice dryness. Overall the beer is very soft, maybe a little too soft. Original flavors array but very low intensity. This was a pretty strange little beer. Not sure what to make of it. I just drank my glass and enjoyed it for what it is. I’m pretty sure it is what Jesus would have done.
A hazed pale yellow beer wth a thin white head. In aroma, pleasant coriander, ginger, and sweet cream. In mouth, a light smooth gingery saison with creamy mouthfeel, light and refreshing. On tap at VT Brewers Fest, July 17 2010. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2010
Tap at American Flatbread. Pours a hazed light yellow golden with a nice medium head- some lace. Aroma is earthy, grassy, mineral and leafy green tea, slight lemon zest and lemon tartness, doughy and bready with a decent phenolic yeast. Flavor is lemon, green tea, earthy spices, phenolic light grassy and floral with some slight salt and mineral and almost a kombucha character with a slight tartness- although no funk here. Clean and dry- very refreshing. amarcero (24) - , Vermont, USA - JUN 2, 2010
This beer bothered me most out of all the house-brewed beers I’ve had there. It’s NOT a saison. Had they advertised it as a heff, I would have been much more satisfied since it tastes like a well done heff. But it in no way is similar to a Saison. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 31, 2010
On tap at American Flatbread. Pours a hazy glowing gold with a medium to large creamy white head. Nice and musky, a bit of banana, and the faintest hints of green tea, though as is often the case with these things, I think I’m smelling it because I know it’s in there. Doubt I’d pick it up blind. Medium bodied, smooth soft creamy carbonation. More banana and yeast flavors come through in the body, nice clean wheat. Spicy faintly medicinal tea overtones on the end, especially nice bitterness that green tea has.

[Draft @ American Flatbread] Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of some green tea, honey, toffee malts, toast, and citrus. Taste of citrus, tart wheat, lemon, light honey, pepper, and a dry finish. TaktikMTL (7798) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 18, 2010
