20080914 Tap at brewpub. Golden color. Fresh, fruity, lively aroma. Doughy french bread malts, hay. Medium heft but coating with fine, even eff. Nice crisp beer. Maybe it was just the season, but this brewery was loaded with clean, quaffable, just generally nice beers that all paired well with the flatbreads. Worth the visit, for sure. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - AUG 25, 2008
on tap at the brewpub. Lightly hazy golden in color with a medium off white head that retains nicely. Aroma: floral hops, fresh bready pils malt, with a touch of yeasty bread. Taste is also very nice- fresh bready pils malt, some bready yeast, a light amount of malty sweetness, a touch of german floral hops, and a dry, lightly bitter finish. Very nice. (Draft at brewpub). Brand new Pilsener variety, according to waitress. Aroma of fruity hops. Hazy yellow in color with a thin white head. Full-bodied flavor of hay, yeast , and bread. Pleasing lasting finish, with just a touch of hops bite Excellent example of a pils in the classic south German style.
